The level of invention on display, from the vividly detailed models and figurines to the gallery of memorable supporting characters, is astonishing at any length.. It'd be churlish to carp about this triumph of craftsmanlike technique.. . Were Larry and Andy Wachowski just really, really lucky when they made The Matrix?.
